I have been so busy lately.
I did mange to get this quilt finished.
I call it my splat quilt.
It is for our bedroom at the beach and I love the way it turned out.
I had the bed ready for photo's but this guy always has to be in the
middle of everything. hehe!! He made a mad dash for the bed
and ran across it bunching the quilt up in places.
Now I'm at the beach again.
Busy, busy, busy, then sewing and sunning at the beach.
So much fun.

Such a pretty quilt! I like the colors you chose. Looks fantastic on your bed, and what a gorgeous view of the beach. Was there a pattern for this? Or did you design your own? What size is this?

I did this quilt in EQ. It is King Size 107x107. Really it is just a Dresden plate done in blue and white, and green and white on a white background with sashing between the four block's that make up one big block. It can be done in any size, I did my quarter blocks 11 inches finished with 1 inch finished stripes to sew the four block together. If you would like to make a quilt email me the size you would like to make and I will email you some paper templets and a layout from eq. If you have eq it is the Seven Blade Small Center Dresden Fan Block.

Love your quilt ! Dresdens are my favorite. Did you piece the whole Dresden or just applique the colored ones on?
I am working on the "splat" style of plate...piecing the whole circle and then I will applique it on....just wondering if you do it that way.
LOVE the view out your window...which ocean are you looking at ?
